I hit "Info" on my mmcs, then look for the software version. SW = E

Where the heck to do I find what version I'm running, or is it supposed to follow the SW prompt and there's an error in my mmcs?

 

I think you hold down info and menu for 6 seconds... then go to versions.

No.. it's push and hold NAVI and SET at the same time.

 

Set+navi for 3 sec and I believe it's the application version, ull no when u get to that menu

Yeah, Ottaku only hacked it up to 40.11 You'll need to wait it out!! I shall NEVER update my navi!!!

If u read like 3-4 posts up u see that someone asked the same thing and no, he only hacked up to 40.11. so you will have to wait till otaku gets a chance to work on that version.

I can't get this to work. My unit says version 30.99. I downloaded the correct file, unzipped it and burned the ISO to a CD (not a DVD). I put it in the MMCS and nothing happened. I left it in there for a few minutes and still nothing. I tried a DVD and it quit playing when I started driving. I even went into the program screen and tried re-inserting the disk... still nothing. What am I doing wrong? All of the directions I have found are very vague and I followed them the best I could.
