someone recommended to me that instead of hacking my steering wheel, I will just purchase a MR steering wheel when the parts come in and use that to install my bluetooth. I know its different that the install posted on this forum, but I think its a better option for a cleaner install. What do you guys think?

do that and buy the center trim too, you'll need the AWD mode button.

there is a line where you need to cut out one your stearing wheel its really not that bad i did it to mine and it looks factory installed

however i did not glue my handfree buttons on with anything i simply zip tied them from the inside of the stearing wheel once put together you cant see anything looks oem installed

i thought i would use bluetooth all the time with my iphone in the car, but i rarely if ever use it. its a lot easier to just hold to phone normally, even if ur driving a manual. I hate that with bluetooth everyone in the car can hear the conversation, and the quality isnt great.

just a thought...

I want it to be as clean and OEM as possible. This is gonna be my daily and I dont like ghetto rigging things.

My nav unit just came in so the dealer is installing it sometime this week. I am going to tell them to prep as many things as possible so when the steering wheel part starts arriving, its just a simple swap of the steering wheel and airbag
