DVD format question on stock NAV
Sorry, this was my question---> Has anyone made an mp3 dvd with success?
I tryed on nero but the nav couldn't read it.
My experience with dvds so far---> I have burnt music video dvds on nero with success in NTSC format.

NTSC is North America TV format, while PAL is European TV format. The difference between the 2 is that the resolution is different I believe.
i dont have my car yet, i pick it up on monday.... buuuut i would think that with all the riaa **** going on the music server would only let you convert cd's into mp3's.. so it would force you to remove the hdd and transfer the mp3's hdd-hdd.. but again im just baseing this on experiences with other things of the same general idea
its not so much people want to move in onto the server. as much as if you could get the drive to read a DVD like a CD you would have 4 gigs on one disc instead of just 800mb. this has been done in the past it just need to have the file system. should be very doable.
PAL: 625-line 25 frame/s (50Hz) television standard (Known as 576i)
NTSC: 525-line 29.97 frames/s (60 Hz) television standard (Known as 480i)
Though PAL and NTSC specifically deal with Color Subcarrier frequencies and not resolutions or fps. The terms are commonly used to describe these conditions but it's not "correct"
