Question Upgrade SSS package sub.

have anyone upgrade their 10 inches sub that comes with their sss package.

how deep is the stock sub? which brand/model is a good replacement to the stock.

can the stock amp handle the new sub without upgrading the stock amp?

thanks guys

Pretty sure the stock sub runs 2 ohms or under, so if you're replacing it make sure the new one runs at least 2 ohms or lower. Dual voice coil will help.

man i was thinking about swapping the stock sub to a elemental designs sub. just that i havnt really researched the specs of our stock one.

maybe something like this. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...roducts_id=106

i'll eventually get around to it, but i plan to have something done for sure.

You need a pair of single 2 ohm speakers, or a pair of Dual 4 ohm speakers and I think you'll be rocking. Need to double check the ohm rating of the stock sub first.
