Is it just that your voice is just too low of a volume or is it that too much road noise also comes through?

I'd be curious to hear from folks as well because my wife's Outlander (same equipment as Evo) has this problem. She hears everyone fine, but it is hard as hell to understand her especially on the freeway because the ambient noise is so loud. The dealer has been no help and I don't have Bluetooth on my Evo to figure out if her's is broken or if the Bluetooth is just this bad in Mitsubishis.

its fine as long as you have the windows up.

edit: just noticed the OP is from Australia, which coincidentally where my BT came from.

its more of my voice being too low, they've only mentioned that i sound like i'm too far away from the mic. Nothing mentioned about too much ambient noise of roads etc.

others have told me to try it with another phone, but i haven't yet had the chance to do that yet.

It's inside the maplights where those holes are in the center. I completely gave up on using the bluetooth as this is everyone's problem todate. Mitsubishi said there's no sensitivity adjustment and they don't have a solution. If you figure this head scratcher, pm me with your ideas as I've tried just about everything... what's kind of lame but works is looking up at the mic and projecting your voice towards it~ bluetooth headset is your friend for now
