Hey guys what are your thoughts on this unit? it's still going for a pretty penny in canada... it sells for close to $1100 CAN at futureshop. I'm going to a JVC warehouse sale and can get it for $800 CAN. still quite a penny considering i've seen units go for $650 USD on ebay.

also, alot of complaints about dash kit fitment issues...metra to be exact. how about this one? i think they're wholesalers so us end users can't buy from them. this looks to solve all fitment problems as has that oem look.

I didn't know bestkits came out with one or the 08 lancer (I used to use best kits at the company I used to install for). The best kits pieces were usally very high quality though, generally better than some of the metra's.

They (Bestkits) maybe were or still are connected with Scosche so it could be very similar to that kit also. That's not a bad thing, considering I have the Scoshe in my car right now and it fits/looks pretty good.

The best kits is a scosche unit. I already have it installed. It comes in the scosche package.

Thanks. I sold my bike just after I purchased my house or I would have one of those to list as well. It is a love/hate deal with the Tsi but I am sure you are aware of those. Love it when I get to run away from bikes or real nice sports cars but hate it when it pees on my driveway.
