Hrm, I have a polk 10" momo brand new in box that I was thinking of using. I think it's SVC though. I haven't even pulled it out of the box yet. Oh well. I guess I'll stick with the factory sub for a while. Honestly I'd rather upgrade my mids and highs before the sub.

Polk Momo 10" will be too deep for the factory box also.

Hey C - how did it do running off the stock amp? was it at least an improvement over the stocker?

Can't comment, I had a new amp (RF p450.4 or something like that) before the new subwoofer was installed. If I had to guess though, the stock amp would NOT have nearly enough juice for the P3 shallow woofer. It's rated at 300w RMS, but I don't know what the minimun is... I still only have about 150w going to it now.

no wiring 2 channels to one sub is not a good idea.. the plus of a dvc is you can run it at 2ohms, or 8 ohms, assuming they are both 4 ohm coils.. so with that being said. 1 channel in.. made to what ever resistance you feel comfortable with 8 will be safer but half the power
