steering control wiring

how do you wire the steering controls into an aftermarket radio? (pioneer f700bt).

It seems like the steering wheel controls (for some odd reason) might be coming in from the hazard control / airbag light piece just below the radio. Can someone confirm this? Also if this is the case, is there a way to actually get my steering wheel controls working with the AVIC-F700BT?

You need the PAC SWI-PS. I just installed one and it works great.

There are instructions somewhere on this board that I used. If I pull my system out I will take a picture. The controls come of one of the main radio harnesses.
