I am looking at replacing all the speakers. I am usually JL exclusive, but as I get older and get more expensive cars i am less inclined to "experiment" on fitment issues and so on.

Like i said I am into JL, but was going to try something new. I was going to go with the infinity perfect 6.1 for the front and infinity kappa 63.9i for the rear. BUT i am getting mixed advice that they won't fit.

Please recommend some components for the front that will fit (to include the tweeters into the stock RF housing w/o modification)

Also please recommend speakers (of the same brand as above) that will fit in the back.

I am willing to cut the stock speakers out for spacers, but that is about as much as i want to do. I will be running them off a JL 300/4.

I' running Infinity 60.9cs up front and Infinity 2 way 6.5's in the rear with no fitment problems, just .5 inch spacers. Tweeters fit in my non-RF stock tweeter pods.

The tweeter is 1" right?

 

Use crutchfield to see what will fit. They also have reviews from people that have bought them.

They are very helpful and usually respond within 24 hours if you have a question.
