Flash drive no worky in USB port

If I plug the flash drive into the USB port and source over to it, the display reads 'U not connect' or a similar message. Am I doing something wrong?

if you have it, it should be in upper left hand corner when you open your glove box. i think.

Do you know what filesystem the flash drive is formatted in? Might need to be formatted as FAT32. Try a different flashdrive to see if it works

UPDATE

I took a flashdrive, formatted it in FAT32. Copied music folders on it and it works good. The only thing is that once I switch to USB, it must be intializing for about 5 seconds, and then it says USB load. Works good after that and sound quality is better that satellite! lol

Yea I figured. Your flash drive was probably formatted as NTFS Oh proprietary Windows file systems

Initialization will take some time depending on how many files you have on there.. it's probably scanning the contents to build a list of what's on it
