I want to upgrade my audio system, can I have some advice please?

I was told I posted this originally in the wrong place, so hopefully this is the right place and I can get some help.

Ok, first of all these are the items that I've selected, any comments on if this will be a good set up? Anything you'd swap out for something else?

Pioneer TS-SWX251 10" Flat Subwoofer with Enclosure 800 Watts (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HW6F9M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A3DI1PQ3I3V3R1)

Pioneer GM-D7500M Class-D Mono Amplifier with 800 Watts Max. Power (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036W9QEK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&m=AG2F8PI91T85K)

2 x Pioneer TS-A1684R A-Series 6 1/2" 4-Way 350 Watts (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004CLYOHS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&m=A1WRTEG7T8P2CK)

Pioneer AVHP8400 / AVH-P8400BH (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007O0K9EG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&m=A2LYDS8AIU9VMR)

Parking Brake Override Bypass Fully Automatic Video in Motion Pioneer Custom for AVH-P8400BH (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007QE03IM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&m=A9UC26ZLPAXH1)

Boss KIT-2 Complete 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FKP7TY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&m=A1WRTEG7T8P2CK)

TOTAL COST: $910

I'm missing the dash kit for a 2 din unit, but I can't seem to find it anywhere online. Where have you bought yours? I need one for a 2009 Lancer ES.

I also have steering wheel controls on my car right now, is that something I can just transfer into the new unit, or do I need an adapter. If so what kind do I need?

I've also searched the forums for a comprehensive audio/speaker install but no luck is there any posts that you know, with pictures of people doing what I'm about to do? Seems like there would be.

Thanks for the help!

Scosche MI3019B

Ebay or Crutchfield.com

You will need an adaptor to use your steering wheel controls on an aftermarket stereo.

Oh is this what I'd need for the steering wheel? http://www.amazon.com/Metra-ASWC-Uni...5899369&sr=8-1

I also found this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A1B32OZ9AIP1Q7

That's the one that'll fit it seems like.

Any opinion on the audio equipment I've picked out?

I have the a couple extra stock double din dash pieces from the MR or whatever with the GPS and such, will those work for this? The only reason I haven't got an aftermarket radio is because I want it to look clean and smooth, like it's supposed to be there.

The Scosche dash kit fits excellently. That H/U is a giant waste of money. I paid $200 for my AVIC-F700BT, and I have navigation (3 different sets of maps), DVD/Video, iPod connectivity, excellent high-pass filter, 25 RMS speaker output, digital gauges, etc. Check out AVIC411.com to decide which unit to get. There are deals to be had.

That amplifier is way too much for a car of this type. Also, this is the box that you should get. It fits directly in the trunk, while that universal enclosure is going to look and sound like dog-****. Don't cheap out on the subwoofer, either. Alpine, JL, RF, MTX, or nothing. You also should think about replacing the speakers with something a little higher quality than Pioneer. I have a set of Alpine Type-S speakers in my car, and I really like them. They cost me $150 (ish) for the entire set (4 x 6.5 two-way).

Amazon is going to charge you an arm and a leg for new stuff. Look on eBay.

heres a good setup I put together for you from sonicelectronix.com. I think its free shipping for you too.
Just bridge 2 channels on the amp to the sub. CV subs are really decent for the money check them out. No speakers in rear doors btw. basically a really good 2.1 setup. Just need to build or get a box for the sub. OR alternatively you can grab an OEM RF sub and pop it out and put the CV sub in there.
