I know some vehicles are already remote start ready, and just need an added module to get it going. What about the Evo X? What does it take to get a remote starter in one?

AFAIK, if you don't have the FAST key, it's relatively easy to install and get working.

If you do have it though, you can still use the remote start to start the car. But you will have to shut off the car and start the car again using the FAST key after you enter the car

 

After all these years, no one out there has cracked the FAST key? I would get a proper alarm and remote start if I there wasnt a catch to using it. Just one key fob, replacing the FAST key in your pocket - and the engine wont shut off when you unlock and open the door.
