Relocated Dash Buttons

So I got tired of always reaching for the ACS Button and Light Level Switch Dial thing.

Bought some wire, about an hour of my time with a soldering gun, moved everything over within fingers reach!

The blank buttons are now on the dash behind the Cobb.

I only removed the panel at the knees.
unplugged everything.
cut and spliced one wire at a time, ran the wires in the console.
Hour job, easy if you know how to do that stuff.

Also at the same time I relocated the plug for the cobb

The wire can be pushed more inside almost flush.

No more hanging wires

Hope you guys like my Idea's!

Don't have time lately to clean and vacuum her, but I promised myself come spring {thumb up}

Did you need to extend the wires for the seat heaters or were they long enough? Post some pics

Got it from AMS

Please share. The heated seat switch is a double switch that would need to be modified to fit into the single slot. How did you do this? the stock location is horrible.

I did the same thing in my car but the exact opposite. I moved all the buttons up to the dash, then installed the "pocket" from the base Lancer in front of the shifter. Gives me a nice place to put change or even a phone/iPod.

@MR. EVO MR: Does your AP stay on all the time with it wired like that? I just relocated my buttons to the dashboard and installed a small cubby where the AWC switch was and also hardwired my AP like you did. Only thing is after the car being off for a couple hours, I went outside and saw the AP was on the whole time.
