Evo 8 SSL Amp in Evo X

I bought a Evo X without thr SSS package and lets just say its the worst system I ever heard. Now.. I was curious on if that Amp would be compatible in a Evo X? From the pictures it looks like their setup for only plug and play. So I don't knkw if that would work at all. Anyone have any idea? What is the watts on the infinity amp that comes with the SSL Package anyway? Im trying to push a JL Audio W3 and I need a amp and it must be small because the evo x trunk space cant fit ****.

Thanks!

Just get a JL 5-chan and replace the oem amp under the pass seat. Great upgrade without a lot of wiring needed.

Why do i need to replace the amp under the seat? thats powering the speakers in the car. I'm just trying to find a decent amp to power 1 JL Audio W3 (because 2 doesn't fit) thats small enough to mount anywhere because im restricted with space.

Any suggestions on a nice amp?

I tried to mount a small amp in the trunk of the X, it sucks. Thats why Im saying get a 5-chan and upgrade all of it in one shot.

Hmm... you tried to mount a small one and it sucked huh? Damn..... I was hoping i didn't have to go threw removing the seats. I just wanted a amp and a sub lol. Maybe mount it on the sub box?

you don't need to remove the seats

the amp is a big piece of crap anyways and won't work with most aftermarket

if you want a small powerfull amp, try an Alpine 500 monoblock
