I'm always searching for 6.1 touchscreen. Can we go bigger?

I'm always searching for 6.1 touchscreen. Can we go bigger?

Like i said... im in the market for an aftermarket touchscreen. I was curious if i could go bigger than 6.1? it seems like the screen is so small and the buttons take over most of the space. Their are tons of touchscreens that have the buttons smaller and give you more screen. But i dont know what to search for that will fit. I need to know what would give me bigger screen and less buttons.

Thanks!

You can go to a 7 inch screen with many different aftermarket vendors. I would check out pioneer, kenwood, and alpine. All make 7 inch touchscreen units (well, 6.95 if you want to get technical). Alpine even makes a 8 inch touchscreen unit, but it requires modification to the dash to allow it to fit.

I run a pioneer 7" in mine. You can go bigger with one of the detachable 9" screens, but it hangs out

To install the 7" screen do we need a aftermarket kit? Do i need to trim or cut the dash? Reason i ask is because i had recently viewed a "lancer evo 7" dash kit conversion" i wasn't sure if i needed this for a 7" to fit inside our OEM dash setup.

Did you guys just buy it and install it?

You will need a "dash kit" to install an aftermarket radio.
