ios 8 and mmcs fail :(

I've been just pissed since IOS 8 came out and it does not link with my MMCS when I go to USB/Ipod option. I can only stream via blue tooth and even that is spotty.....

I'm not going to change phones just yet..... I just wanted to gripe about it with others that may be having the same problem.....

I never use iPod control. I always stream and now I use a USB charger plugged into lighter socket because plugging in to the cars USB makes the phone go into shuffle.

Curious about this. I mainly use my iphone to listen to music in my car through the Aux Port. I'm also looking to upgrade to the OEM navigation. I just have the RF 6 CD Disc changer.

Is this a big issue if I plan I switching over? I just assumed that I would plug it into the aux like before and it would play music.

with the factory nav you can stream via bluetooth or via USB with what used to be ipod controls.

However even with the latest ios 8.1.2 update the USB connectivity still does not work.

So I am forced to stream via bluetooth.

The other constant failures are:
outgoing calls do not que up the blue tooth if made from the phone. If you make the call from the navi system all works fine.

No USB functions it won't even link to play music from the phone through the cable. However, it will charge your phone.

It seems even the aftermarket HU ipod connections are failing at times w/ Pandora app connection.
All these after iOS 8.xxx updates or because my iphone 4s is getting dated?

I'm thinking it's iOS updates... Another reason to get rid of this apple crap.
