So I have a loading 2011 gsr. RF nav and sub, I wasn't thrilled about it like i thought i would be and then recently when i got a new phone I found out it won't pair with the bluetooth. I'm kinda annoyed.....so right now I use an rca to aux cable for spotify on my phone but of course calling dosen't work. question is this:

If I get a bluetooth adapter to plug into my rca's will it give me all my functionality back? (Phone and spotify)

Is there an option to just replace the headunit and have all functionality and have it sound ok? If this the case any suggestions?

Any suggestions on replacing everything?

 

The car had BT so no need for added aparatus.

Real question is why it's not connecting. Maybe the bt box is bust?

The bt box is behind the passenger airbag.

 

Shoulda mentioned. When i got my new phone and couldn't connect I still could with my old phone. I even deleted out my old phone and re-synced it and it worked perfect. It has to do with the firmware I believe. Same reason why Iphone IOS8 doesn't work.

 

i think its a firmware issue
