Use the 2.51 and the May System Update then delete both Bluetooth and then add odbii first and then your phone. It should work like that keep in mind that ELM 327 that is sold with the unit is sort of a cheap replica and lag. I have ODBlink MX and has no lag

I got mine used off ebay, and then requested warranty since they have 3 years and they send me a new one.

if you do get this one or the LX you need to put the password of the Bluetooth to 1234 dont know why to pair it.

i am fine with 1234 for BT password for a head unit.
i am not nervous about hacking

but i think you can change it after paired it right?

I put the files on the root of the GPS SD card and its not finding anything when i hit update MCU. A file that says dmcu.img it found and i did that upgrade. Th MCU version is now MTCD_HA_V2.41_1

When i hit system update is doesn't do anything either. I have both files on the SD card and can see them using file browser on the head unit.

I see if i have time to record a video, but they need to be on the root of the gps sd card and not in a folder.
