evo x from hawaii

evo x from hawaii

need advise on which exhaust system i should get to gain hp and that has a nice low deep sound that would make it more beefy, and also will i gain hp by changing my up and down pipes? n where can i pick up a airinx filter that will fit my evo x

yes, read up and you'll find out there's a lot of things you should get. But IMO, you shouldn't get any bolt-ons until you're also ready to get it tuned ASAP. Because whatever you gain, you'll lose eventually because the ECU will re learn everything and prevent you from keeping your gains...

Oh and congrats on getting an EVO X. How many Xs now are there on the island? Mine's being shipped from the mainland right now. Are you in the military?

what color is your x? i saw a silver, red, and a black one this weekend.

I don't think there is an Airinx filter for the Evo X yet.

Are there shops in Hawaii that does dyno tuning now? When I was there in the early 90's, not a single shop had a dyno.

BTW, I used to live in Aiea and worked at a shop called KMA Racing.

ALright Oahu guys and X's. Im on the big island we have no awd dynos sucks for us.

Check out ams thread about their new dual exhaust it lets you choose three different tones easy bolt ons

bringing this thread back from the dead, but im moving there and need some assistance with tuners, shops, etc... and, i have a ix, not a x but hey, an evo is an evo. let me know guys. tks.

I know what you mean about needing advice. If you listen to the many exhaust clips that have been posted everywhere, they all sound the same to me. And, it's not like you can meet up with other Xs to see/hear them in person because there's only a handfull of Xs on the island and so far I've seen only one with an aftermarket exhaust. Sucks...

I will be on Oahu for tuning April 24th and 25th at RAD.

I will be on the Big Island on the 26th!
