Real-time data logging?

Are there any real-time data loggers out that we can use on the X? I've been hearing about PCMSCAN but I don't feel like paying for a license at this time. Are there any other programs we can use, possible shareware programs such as ECUFlash?

None that I know of......

I'm interested in a logger that can log knock & load on this new CAN system. I wouldn't mind paying for a good logger.

Just a noob question, but if knock and load are ecu parameters, shouldn't a scanner such as my LM-2 be able to read this? I'm still tinkering with it.

DashDaq from DrewTech-no knock-but can work with the zietronix WB O2. Worked great for me-logged 9 dif parameters at once (RPM, Thrtl pos, load, MAF, MAP, intake temp, front O2 (not WB), coolant temp, and I cant remember). My $0.02. I think there are a couple other tuners on here doing the same.....plus it'll read/clear codes, ect. Great device-using it on the MBZ now as well.

Sounds a lot like Dashhawk. So it real-time datalogs to a laptop? Does it do boost? And ashame it doesn't work with the AEM o2. Shareware? Sorry, work limits my internet acess.

So are there ANY programs out to monitor real time? Does PCMScan data-log for the Evo X? I can hold off on adjusting timing maps if I can't watch knock. But I would like to watching AFR's with my AEM UEGO and boost real-time. Anyone have ideas?

PCMScan does not log knock. It does however log timing, temps, boost (with a 255 kPa absolute cap), maf, IAT, ECT, etc etc

So does dashhawk. May not be instant on a data-log....but dam close. And with it's real-time display and warning lights I can set...I'll use that for now till something is released for us and for knock.

Yea if you already have something that works well for you, then by all means...

Sample from a datalog I've taken with PCMscan:
