Will the Accessport Stage 1 Stock Map work with an EBC installed or does it need the stock solenoid hooked up?

It will work fine with the EBC just use stock boost level and do not try and run more boost than stock levels

Will the ap overwrite an ecutek flash? Just asking b/c I heard an ecutek flash puts some sort of lock on the ecu.

ok... so which is it? stock or ebc with stock psi max?

I have a GReddy Profec B Spec II, but don't go over 23 psi max.

Boost is boost - as long as you run the same boost as the desired target of the intended Cobb map then you will be fine using a EBC or MBC

Not sure on that one.

On the Subaru Cobb and Ecutek coperated from years 2002 - 2007 so they share the codes and an Access Port can overwrite an Ecutek reflash

On the Evo products thus car it has not been an issue as neither was locked

The Evo X has a few loose ends we will be sorting out soon

Ecutek maps can be downloaded from the ecu no problem.

So if this monitors boost do you really need a boost gauge?

You can monitor your boost with the AP so you can use it to verify what psi you are at. That being said if you want to monitor it all the time VIA the AP you will need to have it always plugged in a find a way to mount it. Also you will need to go into the settings everytime to get to the gauges.

So if you are only going to look at it once in a while you could use it. If you want to have it be your gauge it is a little more tricky.
