As far as I know there is no place even remotely close that i would be able to get a custom tune done to work with my AGP intake. Is there some way i could get one create remotely? Else can I just run the stage 1 map or is there too much potential for damage/issues there?

Yeah i would wait for a pro tune or remove your exhaust.

Yes is not free for updated maps. If you get free ones be really thank full. Maybe some vendors will offer the maps if you purchase the part from them.

if i was to drive up there, can i get a custom tune for my car. and would that still cost $695, or would it cost more? i also have 2 other buddies that want to go up and get tuned at the same time.
Oh yeah, the AP is separate from the tune. I got quoted like 350 for a pro tune yeah im keeping my OST(base COBB map) for a while. Since it appears to put down 300 even at the tires is good for now

Maybe what the tuner is saying is that it would be more cost effective and easier to use the Cobb Intake for which the tuner has good maps ?

Sometimes things get confused when they are repeated by 3rd parties

When it comes to custom tuning, I will tune any intake out there - its all tuning
Thanks for clearing that up AL.

So to answer my own question, I gave Al a call and he said he's still working on the dynoflash maps for the first 10 customers who bought the AP from him (one of them being me). Apparently there wasn't enough time for him to prepare and load the maps into the AP prior to shipping. At least I know he's working hard to give his customers the best possible custom maps, even if it takes a bit more time.

But when the AP arrived, it didn't have any additional map at all. What gives?

I bought it on Dec 1 (Monday) which still falls in the promotional period.

All the guys who bought the AP from me will be recieving their maps.

Due to the BETA frimware update and other developments with the tuning platform, I have elected to not forward the maps until I have had time to test them with the new beta application. I am currently conducting that testing which is going very well.

The first X tuned with the beta firmware has been running strong and cel free for two days now.

Thanks for your patience

Thanks for the update.

It may take a few additional days as Cobb is working on some additional features I want to incorporate.

I also want to work with the on board data logger to have the customers test the car and forwrad a data log for me to review.

I am moving ahead very quickly.

I will have maps for all the major Stage I - III modifications available very soon.

I will be selling the maps for $99 each.

I am going to include a review of the customer's data log with the AP and a modification of the map with the map purchase.

As the tuning contiunues I will increase the map pool to include more and more intakes and parts combos.
