Thumbs up Thanx Al - "Dynoflash'

Al:Your Da Man: Thanx for all your hard work and keeping us informed,I know your extremely busy.
There is no doubt I will be getting some custom maps from you,$99 sounds great to me.
I had an 04 STi w/PDX Stg-2 maps (mailed to me) and the STi ran killer for 4.5 yrs,so hoping to get my X to run that good with similar HP/TQ.

I had to spend app $2K to get 50-60HP-with my STi. . .just getting the $695.00 AP + 99.00,should get me there (app 300WHP),without having to buy a new DP w/cat & Intake. Even if I need a MBC, I'll still be under a grand.

Not saying anything againts AL, in fact im happy he will be doing what he is doing, the 99 per map sounds awesome by the way.

Just so you know, the base COBB map appears to be putting 300 at the wheels HP and TQ. {thumbup**

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&postcount=159 it pretty much correlates to the dyno COBB posted.

On my X I have 880cc injs, a FP red X turbo, 255lph walboro, full ETS pipe/intercooler/intake kit, HFS-5 meth kit, and full turbo back Ultimate Racing exhaust... So I need the "race tune" correct? Can I have Cobb or Al or one of the other sellers download this before they ship it out to me??

Thanks for the help!!

George

This is coming out of my A$$, but i bet you will need to get pro tune, your mods are very extensive and is safer and better(more power) to get pro tune.

OMG thats the exact setup im aiming for... you gotta let me know how your cobb tune turns out. Im debating if i should go this route or just wit for the ecu flash. I was wondering if upgraded injectors could be tunned with this.

From what the tuners are saying, you can do everything you can do with ECUflash and ECUtek. Just another tool.

The product really has two sides

The FRONT end which is the box the customer gets whichis like many other hand held flashing devices on the market for domestic applications - it holds the maps and gives you the live data and all the features

The BACK end is the tuning application which is like Ecutek - very similar - that is the application that Access Tuners and Cobb use to make the maps whioch customers load into the AP

What sepeartes the AP from the Ecutek and other flashes like tech tom and Works' etc is that none of the other flashes have ANY FRONT end for the customer - they are all just flashed into the ecu and that is it

ONLY Cobb gives you the other features

Al

ok then...

hey Al!
im understanding it works like diablosport flashers... (which are the ones i use for my other cars)

you can changes up to a certain point?

for example, and is a stupid example none the less...

on a Predator(diablosport) you can add and substract fuel, change timing ect....

IF i get a custom tune say from you... can i work on it from he hand held?
your tune will be set to "0" (even when the acutal change you did is a -3)

are you following the question?

RallySport might be speaking of the device itself.
