Cobb AP data log - knock retard?

Cobb AP data log - knock retard?

I tried running Cobb stage 1 map and has knock retard values in one of the runs as follow:

4000rpm 2.11
4700rpm 3.16
5300rpm 2.46
6500rpm 0.70

Occasionally i get values of 0.35 appearing in 1500rpm to 3000rpm range.

What do these numbers mean? Does it mean i was knocking? The strange thing is that it only appeared in one of the few runs which I data logged. Im running 94 octane, what gives?

Like you were told in the other forum the base map for AP is for a stock vehicle.

i am having the very same issue. i dont have an mod's but the AP. the AP does not do a knock count but i have 11 counts of knock retard ranging from 0.35 0.70 all the way to 1.05. it is starting to worry me. i am using 93 oct. and running the stage 1 93 map. i have the full log if anyone wants to take a look? Is
the knock retard ...knock. do i have a problem?

Those are so minimal you should only worry if you see anything higher then 3.00-4.00. 1.00-2.00is normal even on the stock tune w/ or w/o bolt ons.<-- to cplise

To OP dont run stage 1 unless your stock. Otherwise it wont like you.

Well am i knocking or is it just preventing knock? also anyone know if ABS. pressure is boost. i have gotten 31-36 psi ( other have asked me the same question)!

( legend goes SEC. RPM, ECT, TPS, ign advance, LTFT, KNOCK RETARD ( 7th column ) , WGDC fine, maf, abs. Pressure , load boost / fuel, load timing. SEE SNIP

so should i worry about this i have seen as high as 1.05? i took 3 more logs today. i guess i should see if its getting worse. do you think i could of gotten some bad gas or is the cobb map bogus?

toss some 100 in there and see if it goes away

Your engine isnt knocking the ap reads KRT(knock retard) its the prevention of knock not actual knock counts. Its just pulling timing to prevent it.

Use BP 92 oct should help. Someone told me its technically 92.7-92.8 oct

That's actually incorrect. It is showing the knock retard because the ECU is detecting knock counts. It is preventing more knock by taking timing out (retarding)

For the different hardware you have, you should be custom tuned. The COBB maps were configured on stock hardware or COBB hardware only.

Well guys , im getting this in every log with 93 oct . gas using the cobb stage 1 93 map. I have no mods at all just the AP? i am also seeing ABS. pressure spikes all the way to 36 psi ( does ABS. Pressure = Boost ) .

If you're seeing 36 psi on a boost gauge, that can't be good for the car. I suggest either stop going WOT on this tune or flash back to stock.

well it is not a boost gauge it the ABS. Pressure reading from my cobb AP.
