I went to a heartbreaker Mustang Dyno that baselines X's at 210-220 and with my mods I only got to 290, different dynos mean different readings. I can still hit 111 mph at the quarter mile so 380-390 HP at the crank isn't out of the question. I also found out that while I got tuned for 11.5:1 AFR's by Al at Buschur racing, having an 1/8 tank or less was likely effecting fuel pressure since my more recent baseline dyno showed 10.8 AFR's with the same tune. So always get tuned with 3/4 or full tank of gas!

There are just so many factors involved it can make your head spin. You also don't have a FMIC so back to back runs will read quite a bit differently compared to someone that has an upgraded FMIC and you can't be as aggressive with the tune. The meth will help but how much extra boost you are running is what gives you horsepower from that setup, similar to the effect that race gas gives with it's slower burn. Sadly the stock turbo can only give so much peak HP above 5500 RPM due to it's flow limits. It will be very hard to impove peak HP numbers without being more efficient at the same boost.

If Ive said it once Ive said it a thousand times ... You cant compare readings from one dyno to another. In fact its in accurate to compare runs on the same dyno from different days. So dont use dyno numbers to compare two cars on different dynos on different days. You just ask for inaccuracy.

As others resonated, there are so many factors that play a role in why you can't compare the two dynos/tunes. For one, an apples to apples comparison is still difficult even with the same brand dyno, same tuner, same altitude, baro, humidity etc etc. For example, let's say that one dyno is in a very well ventilated building with fresh air passing as if it was outside (or a nicely designed dyno cell), while the other is in a more closed up room with just fans on it (this is more the norm). Example two, would be one having the weather station sitting near direct sunlight and you can see how that would affect the readings too

Anyway, just focus on your gains if you have that info. That's what really counts and then take it to the track and back it up with traps. I'm fairly certain AMS didn't do you wrong on the tuning. 50/50 meth with a decent sized injector will allow a con siderable amount of timing and requires that a good amount of fuel be pulled from the maps. And from what i read, the OP was tuned on EcuTek which apaprently has a nice logger, which would mean that it wasn't a shot in the dark.

You can see my base pull here:

They didn't do a base 4th gear pull. They did the 4th gear pull to make sure that the car was fine and wasn't doing anything funny.

As everyone here has said, you can't compare results from different dynos or even same dyno on different days - hell you can't even compare dyno results on the same dyno on the same day if they're far apart and the ambient temps are different.

I'm just responding to the guy who said that 4th gear pulls are much lower than 3rd gear ones.

Your car is making good power and you got great gains. Just enjoy your car and focus on upgrading the part between the steering wheel and the driver's seat.

This is a completely useless topic to toss around as to who tunes better or makes more power by comparing two charts from two cars on two different dynos on two different days with different mods...are there any other variables you'd like to change.
