^^^
Word,

Got bored, so I have this suction cup mount from one of my old GPS systems, and had one of my old point and shoot $80 dollar cannon cameras and had a little fun. I just hooked it up, went down the street, went like 40% throttle, and when I let off, I get the little blue fireballs seen in this short clip. If I have time, I will see what kind of fireball I can get under a full 4th gear pull

My Artisan turboback with a spun-core catalytic converter shoots nice flames. I'm actually hoping to tune this behaviour out of the car, since it is just a result of running rich at liftoff.

Yeah his bumper is charred... seems like it's a part-time flame-thrower with the soot and ash all over that exhaust tip...

Wow. $1500 ?!!??! WTF. Is there anyone from jersey that's gotten a ticket for shooting flames? This definitely makes me not want a turbo-back because I usually have a state trooper sneaking up behind me on the NJ turnpike and 287 where I usually drive.

What about high-flow cats? Would a 100-cell or a 200-cell HFC shoot flames and still be legal?

If you have an almost stock car then you have a right to complain, but otherwise a modifed car forum is the last place anyone should be preaching about emissions. Just about any peformance-related engine mod you do will increase its emissions, unless it is something so minor as to be CARB legal. Performance reflashes are particularly bad for the environmen because you are replacing a tune that is designed to balance emissions and performance with a tune that has never been tested to meet emissions standards.
