Ok guys, i read the entie post, here is my situation , i intalled a CNT version 3 and tomorrow am getting my test pupe from speed circuit. My car is not tuned, will i hurt the car without a tune?, i id it for the sound, but being able to shoot flames would be very cool. I would hate to have to wait to put it on, but will do if it is going to hurt my engine. Thanks!!!!!

I have a megan resonated test pipe and have never seen flames but i do hear a pop sometimes but its not crazy loud. how loud is it when a flame shoots out? Will the resonated TP eliminate the flame?

No the resonator should affect the flames, your tune is probably just leaner than his.

You wouldn't be able to see flames fro mthe driver's seat now would you? Resonators don't do anything but surpress sound. Case in point, my Milltek exhaust with stupid long resonator.

I wouldnt put in on unless you can monitor your boost levels. Because there is a great change that you will be over boosting.

I havent installed mine yet because of this reason.
