the only thing I can think of is that with less restriction, the turbo can and does spool a little faster right? I think I read that somewhere, that would make mileage go down I guess.

I did a little testing today doing some highway driving... the first test was crusing at 58 mph and the fuel bar mostly stayed a little bit under the 25 mark which is never seemed to do before. Once at 65 and 70 however it clearly was up at 25 a lot more often. Is this because of roll resistance or what? It just seems odd.

lol, I never knew the manual had an "optimum speed" honestly... I always thought it would be what the speed limit is... idk?

I run 43 til 50 load and 42 til 70 load.

IIRC, there was no gain above 43 deg.

K, thanks. Once I get my newly found evoscan issues resolved I'll bump it down to that and do some logging.

I increased 3* from 50-70 load, does anyone think that's to much?

I'm running at 43 instead of 44 like I posted above with the screen shot. I flashed the car this morning and drove it for 2hrs. It did great. No knock anywhere, afr's good, no surging. On the cruising portion of the drive at 75mph, I averaged between mid 27's-mid 28's. If it was perfectly flat, I would've pushed into low 29's.

what sort of mods do you have?.. and are you logging just cruising or WOT pulls as well?
