Formerly EcuTeK tuned car, can I overwrite with Ecuflash?

Hey guys,

I have a not local friend with an X coming to visit me.

I know its been discussed a bit, but can I pull and overwrite an Evo X that has been tuned with EcuTeK with Ecuflash without any issues?

I've never seen any imobilizer codes in Ecuflash, just wanted to be sure it would be possible and I won't render the car unable to start.

Thanks.

Be sure to backup his original ECUTek tune so he doesn't lose his license.

If the Ecuflash tuner backup the Ecutek flash, I will not lose the license?
