It should work in standard mode, but will not work in mode23.

Are you using mode23 or MUT?

What logcfg.txt did you copy? Did you set a start/stop parameter? Have you read the documentation? What have you tried to fix it? We need much more info to know whats going on here.

Turns out that we need to short pins 1 & 4 on the obd connector to enable logging on the older Evo's, as its not done on the OP2

Exclamation size matters

please note, i was unable to make an 8 GB class 10 micro sd card work with openport 2.0. the 8 GB card was formatted as fat 32. i called tactrix and they suggested the 8 GB card was the issue.

I ordered a 2 GB card on amazon for $5 and it work instantly as soon as i copied the logcfg.txt to it.

it might be worth updating the original post with this info to save people the headache of trying to figure out whats wrong, especially now that 8 GB micro sd cards are "small" these days.

that sucks for me! i tried fat 32 and ntfs file systems. i was unable to make mine work. after 3 days of trying multiple variations of logcfg.txt files i gave up and called tactrix. they make it seem like that's a common problem.

sure enough, the 2 gb drive arrived in the mail today so i throw a logcfg.txt on it and TA-DA! it works.

the one that would not work for me was a PNY brand 8 gb class 10 SDHC card.

Having problems logging with a 2011 GSR, values in evoscan look correct but I'm only getting accurate psig readings everything else is off. Using posted cfg does this not work for newer models?

probably not. just check your logcfg file against the addresses you have selected in evoscan. make sure to check it its 2 byte.

from log:

paramname=RPM
paramid=0x808746
databits=16
scalingrpn=x,3.90625,*

evoscan:

request id: 23808746
eval: 3.90625*x
response bytes: 2

it displays correctly in evoscan... not sure what I'm doing wrong?

Got mine working on my 5 at last only can't get the Start stop function to work the logcfg.out file says there something wrong with the below but not sure what

conditionrpn = RPM,0,>
action = start
;
conditionrpn = RPM,0,==
action = stop

Also I'd like it to start logging at 2000rpm and stop when it goes below that

any ideas?

or do I need the RPM para before it as well
