Lol. What can i say, i like to come prepared and after reading 13 pages of back and forth posts... they rack up pretty quickly.

Thanks again guys, got this up and running like a charm. Its nice to be able to log track heats for review the next day. Not only from a performance and safety stand point but logged MPH is kind of nifty to review and go back on during the Go Pro Vids. Peak MPH in straights and average mph per run, now if only i could find a way to log G-Force off the ACD controller! =)

There is a way to for the CT9A. That probably requires a laptop and is for another section though.

I just picked up an OP2.0 for my 2012 X and I'm looking to log my Zeitronix ZT-3 through standalone input.

1. Has serial logging been implemented yet for this wideband on the mini jack?
2. If not, has anyone already done the work for scaling the Zeitronix Wideband for analog input by chance?

If not, I'll just log raw voltage on Pin 8 using a small OBD2 extension cable and scale it properly using the manual which specifies the scaling and post back.

Can't wait to get this working. I'm going to use standalone logging from the beginning on the X. I was so tired of the whole laptop in the car thing with the IX.

Thanks for your help guys

I think it should work for any serial data stream - should be no scaling required.

It would be fantastic if that is the case. I thought the serial communication was proprietary to each manufacturer and not an open spec.

So the LC-1 would speak a different ASCII output than the Zeitronix unit if you were to capture the stream of communication.

I know the Analog input through pin-8 will work since voltage is voltage, but I'd rather not splice into any wires if I can just get a female RS-232 to male 2.5mm cable and hook it up.

Can anyone else confirm this with Zeitronix units?

Its been awhile but just wanted to note that this is still up and working great on my Evo 9. Every so often i take a look at the logs to make sure everything is still running great and its absolutely amazing for recording track info.

Someone was asking if I could post my CFG files up so here ya go.

thanky ou very much live4redline I just bought a 2.0 and only stumbled on evoX threads since 2.0 users are mostly evoX, I drive a 9 with tephrav7

gonna take your logcfg as a base and then modify it a bit ,got a lc-1 and I will make a cfg mostly for virtual dyno runs maybe TPS >95% start TPS < 95% stop
will make a post in the 9 section when I'm done, thx again

Not a problem and any time boss. For best results limit the items you log to the bare minimum. A lot of the stuff i log i turn on and off for different results as you can see in the file.

If someone could kindly share a logcfg.txt file that works correctly 2013 RA it would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to validate everything is alright with the GST basemap V31.003 (stock pill: 93 octane) that I installed today.

Of the parameters I have tried, the following seem to be the most incorrect based on what I am seeing in the output file:

paramname=RPM (VALUE DOES NOT CHANGE FROM 722)
paramid=0x808794
databits=16
scalingrpn=x,3.90625,*

paramname=Knock (DISPLAYS EITHER 1, 8 or 16)
paramid=0x808A9B

paramname=Timing (VALUE DOES NOT CHANGE FROM -20)
paramid=0x808A57
scalingrpn=x,20,-

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you given these a try yet? Edit: Probably won't work for an Evo X, my bad.

paramid=0x21
scalingrpn=x,31.25,*

paramname=KnockSum
paramid=0x26

paramname=TimingAdv

I will give those a try, thanks.

Any hints on collecting boost in PSI or manifold pressure in kPa?

Boost and Manifold pressure are the same thing. You also did not specify what MAP sensor so heres two options that i haven't tested but an educated guess says they should look something like this...

Edit: Again probably won't work for an Evo X.

JDM 3BAR Map Sensor (Pretty sure its the same as stock Evo X sensor)
paramname=Boost (JDM 3BAR)
paramid=0x38
scalingrpn=x,0.19348,*,14.5,-

OMNI 4BAR Map Sensor
paramname=Boost (OMNI 4BAR)
paramid=0x38
scalingrpn=x,0.2369,*,14.5,-

*Note that if you changed the above 14.5 in Evoscan to your local atmospheric pressure, you then will need to do that here as well.

^ Should work on Evo IX.

But I forgot that the Evo X does it a little differently. May need to try this if you have an Evo X instead...
