Unless your mechanic has a mitsu MUT3 scan tool, they won't be able to do it. You will most likely have to go to the dealer to get them to bleed the ACD.

oh i see..what should i tell them? to still get it done under warranty considering i put an after market clutch outside of mitusbishi.. lol i'm really dumb when taking the car in to mitsubishi..hehe

my mechanic bled my line and the light stayed but disappeared overnight..perhaps ecu just needed to forget.

The moral of this story is if you take your Evo off-road, drive it through a car wash before taking it to the dealership.

edit: just checked the reservoir tank in the trunk and almost empty, heading now to the dealership to get some atf sp 3

I drove it for a day with the light, bled it again the next day and light was still on, turned the car on the next morning and the light was gone.

Any updates on this? I have aftermarket clutch as well like 1k miles and got this codes. Do I have to visit dealership or bleeding the acd will fix it?

Result

Sorry for not updating, but the issue was caused by a broken yaw rate sensor. I ultimately brought it into South Coast Mitsubishi and they quickly diagnosed the problem. Sadly I had to pay for the replacement part because I was out of warranty but they were nice to charge me nothing for labor.

thanks for the update, i have read so much already and decided to set an appointment as well to the dealership to get diag, and im almost sure my steering angle sensor is bad...but i hear some faint cracking noise somehwere in the steering wheel...fyi i have aftermarket steering wheel installed with boss kit and quick release.

Hi

i have an evo x suddenly the car battery when off!
when i started the car with one other car i took it for a ride and started showing in the dash the following
service required
abs warning light
afs warning
the abs doesnt working at all
and the battery is completely dead!

has anyone the same problems!
