HELP! cobb stage 1 not hitting boost target
Car: 2010 gsr
mods: HKS panel filter, T1R resonated test pipe and 90R exhaust, Cobb stage 1 93 oct hks map
boost gauge: defi
flashed two days ago. didn't really have a chance to do some real driving yet. did a 4th gear pull wot to red line on the way home today and the boost was slowly building up to 20 psi and held there for a bit before tapering down towards red line. shifted to 5th and it hit 24 psi and tapered down again? didn't do a log cause didn't expect the road to open up driving home from work. is there anything wrong? any comments would help. first time dealing with tune.
Thanks

That sound about right to me, 24psi tapering down at redline. With the stock turbo, actuator, and solenoids, you'll only be able to see around 19-20 psi boost at redline no matter what you do.

what RPM did you start your pulls at?
from my experience, peak boost should be hit around 4k-4.5k RPMS....it will slowly taper off from there....if your ALREADY in the 4.5-5k range and gun it....I don't think that will give you a peak boost measure
just like SiC stated earlier....start at a low RPM and watch as it hits target boost around 4k....it should give you target boost....if not, you might have a leak somewhere
Remember cobb maps say give or take 1psi....so if your target boost is 23psi and you only hit 22 max...don't sweat it...
