Mitsu = Cheeky Buggers

Lol.

So I got sent a 2011 AUDM ROM.

LOTS of changes.

1) MIVEC, looks a lot more like how we do it now, lots of ex-retard in cruise, lots of in-advance in usual areas

2) Timing, a lot more in cruise, a bit less up top, lots more idle timing and lots more overrun timing

3) Fuel Map is a LOT richer

3.1) AFR Calibration map is a LOT leaner

I havn't even got to the boost maps yet...

So quite a LOT of changes over 2008/2010..

I suspect you guys will see the same thing with the 2011 ROM's

ps - Our 2010 could flash onto 2008... Not anymore with the 2011 -> 2010/2008... (Like your 2010 -> 2008 is no good)

Can you post these new timing changes in cruise? Ours is stock 40 and I run 43. Is it more than that?

Ahh, I see. 44 in the very low load areas.

I was curious because our Subaru runs 46 in the cruise area in 5th.

That intake MIVEC is way different from the old stock ones.

Damn that's crazy! At least they're tweaking the car as time progresses; it's an evo!

Wonder what all these changes add up to on a stock car?

looks like they got a copy of ecuflash and simply used the interpolate function on rows 2250 through 4000 :P

It's very odd that they keep lowering the upper bound map. It's not like anything ups timing. So it should just run what is in the timing map. Unless they are trying to save the car from crappy tuners.

oh I can confirm that reading/flashing works fine.

we had a weird issue with AFR thou.. Copied across the fuel maps + calibration map (injector scaling/latencies/maf scaling where the same) and it was 9.5AFR... Car made the right power thou..

*shurg*
