Any of you guys run 108 Octane Booster in your Evo? I'm wondering how well it runs for you guys and if you run it off of 91, 93, or a lower grade octane.

I specifically want to know what will happen if you run 87 octane with 108 octane booster. Someone who is savvy with this, please inform.

dont do it. it only increases points. for example if your local octane is 92.3, might raise it to 92.6 maybe. but dont trun 87 in your evo, if you really have to only put in enought o get somewhere there is at least 91 or whatever your tuned for and stay out of boost (granny drive).

 

what he said. One oct. rating is 10 points.. Think of it as 91.0.. If you use a booster that says it will up your points by 4 it will bring it up to 91.4. I only use it when I have gotten gas I know to be a poor grade of 91. Like at a 7-11.
