What would you like to know about it?
Which Blue tooth dongle do you use?

Unfortunately these devices can't datalog Mode23, for such things as KnockSum, nor Fuel Trims, nor VVT, nor Octane Level, nor Wideband Sensors. I am building a new EvoScan version for Android that works with bluetooth for these things with EvoX.

and the cheap bluetooth obd2 will work with your version just fine?? I assume there's not really any difference in the obd2's? or is there...

Sweet!

In any case, I assume if you really wanted to you could drop anything in a MUT location, but the logger might not have the correct formula for it (and likely doesn't if it is standard against all vehicles).

I was getting ready to start working on an Android Evo app.

I have a Huawei 7 inch Android 2.1 with a linux development environment. I've been playing around with the OpenGL stuff and was thinking about porting my turret defense game over to android from pygame.

Lately I'm thinking that I want to do something for the Evo instead. Are the Evoscan folks interested in someone with my device and development skills to test/patch/develop the software? I also have an Evo IX.

Let me know, I just finished my last hobby project and I'm growing tired of modifying this SSH honeypot I'm playing with. Coding at work is going slow and this is a great time to get started on something else.

There is an EvoScan Android project already started and is nearly finished for the Evo. If you would like to be a beta tester, log a support call, and I'll add you to the list.

How are you going to log WB with only using the dongle? There would need to be some input from the WB to the phone right?

This is great news, I was going to write an OBDII reader myself. But there's no point if EvoScan is coming to Android.

I'm pretty sure many phones can handle more than one bluetooth connection ... maybe some sort of serial to bluetooth adaptor? For those of us not wanting to muck about with the rear 02 port.
