Works Brain Flash P2?

Has anyone gotten the Works Brain Flash P2? I recently got my car Dyno tuned and I am not happy with the results. The tuner installed his manual boost controller. The car is great at full throttle but I am have some driveability issues. During regular daily driving there is an annoying stumble at about 2000-2200 rpm at partial throttle. There is a weird choking or oscillation of the intake air and there is a brief loss of power when depressing the throttle.

This is probably compressor surge due to poor boost control - too much pressure in charge pipe, and not enough exhaust gas working the turbine.

I want to go back using the OEM boost solenoids and want to hear from someone that has the Works brain Flash P2.

If your tuner sucks then the Cobb Accessport is my recommendation.

+1 on this. Quick, easy, adaptable, and proven.

For sure, I got tuned elsewhere first then ended up going to Cobb later on; wish I would have just gone to them first and saved myself the time and money.

I have the WORKS P2 Flash on my Ralliart, yes not an 'EvoX' and NO problems. Just awesome power (compared to stock tune) with no drivability issues.
Why would you need a manual boost control?? The Flash incorporates adjustments in the factory boost solenoids doesn't it? you are using the recommended boost hose (pill) also?
There may be something else causing an issue for you.
Considering how many tunes WORKS has done for Evo X's specifically, I'd be surprised.
Just my MO

I had the P2 a couple years ago and it made a nice change in power. But, it also threw p1235 at part throttle due in part to my living at altitude (5300ft.) They worked with me though, and I emailed logs for them to adjust the maps. In the end they refunded my money in full (which was rad) and I was off to open source.

I really like my other WORKS stuff, just not the tune.

Oops, forgot the relevant info...lol.

Get rid of that MBC, the P2 comes with a modified boost pill around which the tune is tailored.

And if you really want your car tuned, have WORKS wipe the p2 tune off your ecu and then have your car tuned using ecuflash or cobb AP.
