Help needed for Gear Based Boost Control

I am trying to configure my EDM 2008 SST to use the "Reactive Solenoid Base WGDC Map #2 (Low Gear)" table for gear 1, 2 and 3 and the High Gear table for gear 4, 5 and 6.

I've set my Xover value as 80 as per the Merlin's guide but it didn't work. Tried using 62 for Xover but it didn't work too.

Logging showed that the ECU switched to the "WGDC Map #1a (High Gear)" table from gear 2 onwards...

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Divide your RPM by MPH across the 2 gear ranges that you want to switch, then pick a value in the middle.

80 should work for you. What rom are you using? I've seen it where that table is defined wrong on some roms. I know I've had to fix it on a handful of my definitions.

I just updated these 4 roms that had incorrect xover addresses. There could be more... I didn't check them all.

53050009 = 54678
52360018 = 5466e
53040007 = 54674
53050012 = 546a6

Golden,

>52360018 = 5466e
I've been using this address since I read merlin.oz's guide. It seems work well.

Yeah, with the updated definition, my xover value now shows 161 which seems 'correct' compared to the earlier value. Will flash my car again tomorrow to see if it works. Thanks

Yup 161 is the correct stock value and lands right between 1st and 2nd gear.

Stock values are not the same in all roms. Some are up or down a tad.

Flashed my car this morning and yes, it's working as it should now. Thanks for the updated definition once again Michael.
