IDC maxxed out?

Hi,

I run stock car with these mods: Green panel filter (with Cobb HKSPF MAF calibration), Miltek HFC + TBE

While tuning WGDS and load target toady I found out in log that my IDC is maxxed out in 6-7k RPM WOT (101%).

Is it common to max out IDC on stock turbo/cams???

Max is actually 120%. 100% is ~ 80% from an injector point of view. You are fine, but if you make more power you may want to add injectors.

Do you have a new Fuel Pump Relay? Have you checked your Fuel Pressure Regulator's vacuum hose?

Any explanation for this?

I actually run LPG (with it´s own ECU and injectors), but IPW for LPG injectoors is read from stock ECU.

well 100% IDC isn't too bad..

but it is useful to know your AFR- you might be running 10.5AFR - hence the high IDC...

Yes, according to the map I should be somewhere near 10,5. As I do not have WB, I prefer being richer for safety.

Is it true that 100% IDC is like 80% in real? (like in the post before?) I log IDC via Accessport.

Well I am not sure what the AP logs for IPW/IDC, so I can't be 100% sure.

But what _we_ log you can get the IDC upto about 115/120 before adding more fuel to the map doesn't make any change.

Best to keep it under 100% regardless

Oh - and your map AFR is only a ROUGH estimate on the actual AFR...

Thank you for info!

I just just hope the AFR map is close to the real AFR :-)

Agreed... get a wideband! (especially if you have a LPG setup that is probably pushing alot of power). If you can install a LPG setup, surely you can install a wideband.
