i've done some mods on my X. i always want to do a tune and expect a totally different feeling on my X. but before i do it, i would like to gater some info about it...

my mods are...ETS intake...RRE upper and lower piping...AMS intercooler...jic dual exhaust and Hks downpipe...this is pretty it...

would like to know has anyone mod the same parts like me...and how much do u have before a tuen and how much do u gain after a tune.

I actually ran my car up last night on the way to a job... VD reports 350/350 whp/wtq with a correction factor of 1.0.

I get about 260 wkw on a DD dyno - so it's about right... (stock car = 160 wkw on this dyno)

cosworth panel filter + 3port + slightly different turbo + meth + HFC + gutted stock muffler

The turbo is worth about 20kw over stock, but with a 3" catback that turbo would probably gain another 10kw...

 

A decent tune should gain you twice what you have gained from the bolt on parts... and it will cost less than half as much. You will kick yourself for not doing it sooner

 

I am making 340whp/366wtq at 25 PSI with dp back exhaust,ARC FMIC,AEM intake,and HKS I/C piping.
