COBB A/P 2011 update for years 2008 - 2010

Guy, I know there is a thread started for the update on 2011 year EvoX's, but there is not one started for the update on the 2008 - 2010 years.

I and many others want to see/hear the progress of the A/P and updates being made for the 08-10 years.

I know one update that will be coming out soon is the one thing all MR owners will be excited about " 1st Gear Limiter Removal" this is such a hugh leap for MR owners.

besides that one listed above I have no clue what other add-ons will be coming. and the guys at COBB have been AMAZING! at updating the thread about the 2011 A/P coming out. I am just hoping they will update this thread as well.

I saw in one of the other threads that COBB was looking into putting out a partial update for our years that will just remove the limiter. which would just take it off whatever tune we have now, which would still be sweet!

what is that "1st Gear Limiter Removal"?
I'm not really familiar with some terms.... sorry....
Would it help the accelaration on the 1st gear?

I have 08 EVO MR and planning to put Cobb AP as soon as possible.

It's something that Mitsubishi decided to put on all north American MR's. It's most felt from a dead stop and makes it seem as if you have no control over your first gear around the city. Coming from a Manual background of 10+ years, I've never accepted the MR's crap *** response and feel around the city and if this one thing can change my view, it may live to still see my garage in 2012.

you only have 46% throttle in 1st gear, and reverse. thats it. the update is going to correct that. I have it done already, and its amazing.

So far what we have is COBB is going to come out with an update just for the 1st gear limiter. but the reast does not have a ETA yet. from watching the 2011 update thread it doesnt looklike we will really know anything until a week or 2 before the act release

I'd be interested to see live tuning like 8/9's had come to the X unit.
