Advice on tune

I have a 2010 gsR that I was thinking about using a Cobb tune on. It has a k&n typhoon intake kit, invidia exhaust, and I plan on adding a down pipe,hi flow cat, and licp before tune. My main goal is to keep the car reliable and smooth. I don't plan on doing any other mods besides this. Are there any other supporting mods I would need for a Cobb tune or would I be ok with that setup. Like I said I don't want to throw any codes have rough idle or have to worry about the reliability of the car. Also what are some realistic hp numbers with these mods. I just figured I'd ask before I proceeded. Thx in advance for ur replies

Did you plan on using accessport? If so, you should contact Cobb and ask them.
I think the maps for that device are off the shelf and may not be optimised for non cobb parts.

The other option is to get a custom tune, which will be tuned for the parts you have on the car.

Cobb could set you up pretty good I bet. Don't get the LICP. No Gains. It's the UICP or hot pipe on the Evo X that you need. Dpendng on Dyno I would say close to 300awhp on a Mustang Dyno. Very streetable for a DD.

Best bet would be to give them a call, but if you sent them some data logs I am sure they could do a custom tune for you. I know AMS offers custom tunes using the accessport. I used Cobb on my 08 GSR and will use it on the 11 GSR once it's no longer a beta. Then again I am a little lucky. Cobb is just a few miles away from my house.

What you should be asking is who the good tuners are in your area. Then once you pick one, ask him all the other questions you have including what program he likes to tune with. Cobb isn't your only option

The 2011 USDM maps are done, it's only still considered beta because the international maps aren't finished.
