I was wondering if the accessport can be used as a data logger without flashing the ecu? I am still under warranty and no garage. So i have to stay stock till I come up in the next few years. I want a data logger that also displays info as well. It seems like the accessport can do it but I do not want to flash.....just yet I have been looking at the ark and evoscan but the ark doesn't log and I don't like the evoscan. Please help

 

You can but I think the only way to do it is to flash stage 1 and then once the AP is married to the ECU you can use ATR to flash a stock tune. I don't understand why you would want to though. There is no reason to log a stock car IMO. Just flash stage 1 and be happy.

 

good point. I don't need to data log. I think i'm just gonna go with the ARK design MFD2.

 

hows the mileage after tune?
