Which wideband to buy?

Been looking around for a wideband, so far it has come down to either the AEM (which I know I cant go wrong with0 or an Innovate wideband.

Just wondering which one people prefer and why or if there were any other ones out there.

thanks!

Get the AEM, my Innovate blew two sensors in the first month so got rid of it.

My AEM just came in the mail, got it from Defined Performance if your shopping around.

Zeitronix makes some nice stuff too.

All electronics in my car are Zeitronix.

also interested in this same question. still trying to read as much as i can.

what if you dont want the gauge, which is the best then? I just want it to datalog on a laptop.

ive read you can unhook the post cat o2 sensor, put in the wide band o2 and data log with the tactrix openport 2.0

I have the zeitronix lcd display. All your basic vitals(up to 4) on one display. Makes it easy to glace and check all the metrics very qucikly. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I wish it could read ethanol content% on it too.

I've had the Innovate LC-1/XD-16 for almost three years now and haven't had a single problem. I was very careful with the grounding because they are very sensitive to that.

I used AEM UEGO's in all my cars. They tend to be accurate, self calibrating, and not over priced. Great gauges.

after some research i'm leaning towards the zeitronix zt-2 with LCD or the polar opposite cheapy AEM uego inline. the lcd looks like a good compromise since i dont want to install any traditional gauges.

question though, can you tap into the stock map sensor for boost? $400 is already enough, i'd hate to add $120 for a MAP sensor

thanks,
mo

If you just want a wideband input to log only, dont forget the Zeitronix ZT-3 for under $160. It is the bare bones wideband kit for just that.

You can still add a display later if you want. Works out to about $269 with a ZR-1 display.

interesting to see how little favor the LC-1 has now. admittedly, they have a reputation for being finicky about power and grounding, but mine has been rock solid for four years.
