Ok guys ive read all the information about this pesky code. Only thing is my car has not been tuned or anything, only thing ive done to it was new intake piping hks ssqv bov and exhaust. I have a 08 evo x. I was able to do pulls on my car for literally 2k miles after i got it with no problems at all. I bought the car with all the mods on it. Then just one day I did a pull came out of 2nd and the code came on. When the cods come on car really doesnt enter limp mode. The rpms in neutral still stay at about 2000 but when driving I can still build boost and everything. Can you guys help?

 

Disable it. You need a tune.

 

Check your fuel pump relay. I would get the code when I would use the two step, turned out to be the relay was bad. Replaced it with the green one, now good to go. I know it's not the same as yours but just something to look at.
