Exclamation 1st o2 sensor throwing a cel

I recently purchased a 11' evo x and the 1 mod i have done so far is the hks highpower exhaust with the 2 in 1 downpipe and test pipe when i picked up my car it was fine, after about a day and a half my check engine light came on. when i get on the throttle in 2nd and 3rd gear at around 4-5k rpm's the car bogs and seems like im hitting fuel cut, might i add i dont have a tune for the mod yet. i have tried two diff spacers to fix the o2 sensor and the cel is still active. i purchased a access port and should be getting it in within the next two days..

1st question are there any suggestions as to how to fix the cel (are there spacer kits that will work).

2nd question, is the car bogging and fuel cutting because of the code or because i have not tuned it for the turbo back?

That would be your 2nd (rear) o2 sensor throwing the code, not the 1st (front). You need to disable the CEL, which your AP can do. I am not surprised your car runs like crap untuned with a turboback.

You'll have to disable it if the spacers haven't worked.

Ok. First of all, you don't know what the CEL is until you actually get it read. It's probably your rear o2 sensor, but typically it's a good idea to actually READ the code. It could be related to an exhaust leak or something else.

If you're hitting a wall at 4-5k rpms you're hitting what seems to be fuel cut, you're overboosting and you need a tune. Stop going WOT, and drive like a grandma until you get a tune. You're playing with fire.

I've been throwing a P0133 code (slow response front o2) consistently since I installed my turbo back exhaust. I also ordered the cobb ap and installed their stage 2 map and I'm still seeing the problem. I've even replaced my front o2 sensor and it still keeps popping up. I've checked all vac hoses and exhaust for leaks but everything seems pretty tight. I'm also running the latest relays and I've secured the FPR hose as others have suggested. Seems like the car will run fine for a while (week or so) and then it will start getting sluggish and hesitate on acceleration and the code will pop up again. Not really sure what else to do other than get a pro tune to see if that fixes it.

I have had this code and it was related to compressor surge. I doubt you have this since you'd notice it, but it could be related to vac or exhaust leak. I'd get the whole system boost leak tested. I've never heard of replacing the front o2 resolving this. You've definitely got something funky going on, you've just got to be patient and work through your options until you find the culprit.

Has anyone been able to successfully fix the problem that was triggering this (P0133) code? My car has been throwing this code since I bought it last Nov. Performance doesn't seem to be impacted, but I'd like to get rid of the pesky CEL light.

I know my intake system isgood and tight with no leaks. From what I've read it seems like the other likely culprits are a leak somewhere in the exhaust before the first o2 sensor or a vacuum leak. Am I missing anything?

it comes on randomly usually on startup then after a bit of driving(20km or so) it will clear itself
