When I bought my car their was no CEL .it had a o2 sensor code.I fixed that but I still have no CEL so even when I get codes it won't come on?I swapped a working bulb into the CEL space and it still didn't work.
I then swapped it back to the open door or where ever I took it from and it worked again.

I didn't notice any random wires cut ,or sPliced .
Is there a dedicated fuse or something that I missing?

 

is it disabled in the ecu?

 

How would I cHeck That? Use ecu flash?

 

yeah you would need to use ecuflash and a tactrix cable to pull your map

 

same happened to me i had to go to my tuner turn my 02 sensor heater back on then reinstall my cat so it would pass........awkward this is for 9's

So it doesn't appear for several seconds when you first turn the key on?

I don't recall being able to disable the CEL from coming on at all. Unless you have an AEM ems?
