AEM Boost & AFR Gauge

After doing some research these gauges seem to be the most popular. Those of you who own or owned these were/are you happy with them? I'm not boosting past 35psi so I'm assuming I'm good with this boost gauge correct?

AEM Boost
AEM AFR

I have the AEM UEGO (afr with wide and sensor) and no complaints here. Great piece and awesome quality. Installed myself and hasn't given me a problem yet. Reads out accurately as well.

When I do buy a boost gauge, it will be AEM as well. Both to match and because I know it's quality

I have both the AEM AFR and Boost gauge. Got the AFR gauge wired up so i can read it on my laptop. Awesome gauges.

I had both and like them for sure. I still run their wideband (but if you blow a lot of sensors due to heat I'd go LC-1 since the bosch sensors are cheaper - they need to be calibrated though). The model you have pictured has a really easy to log serial datastream output of AFR that plays very well with a standalone logger.

My main problem with having the pair was that the color of the displays was slightly different and had a different intensity. They also changed from day to night mode differently.

I decided to just stick with a mechanical boost gauge on my newest setup.

I think they are going for 250. I got mine a fraction of the cost since DSG sponsors our local car club and we did the trials on them.

I have the AEM UEGO, Boost, and OP in my car. I love them, but my only complaint with the boost gauge is that there is no negative for vacuum. Throws me off sometimes.

I'd say it's definitely hooked up right. Old boost gauge showed -13/-14inHg while idling, and so does the AEM.

I just re-read what I had typed, and I think what happened was that I didn't convey what I was talking about correctly.

When I said that it doesn't show negative for vacuum, I meant that it doesn't display a negative sign. For some reason in my mind, I had pictured the gauge showing the negative sign when in use.

For normal driving I guess it's not a big deal. However, for breaking my motor in, I am not going into boost. I crapped my pants when I looked over and thought I had somehow hit 8psi.

Do you have the AEM boost gauge or the AEM True Boost Gauge?

Sorry for the delay, didn't realize there was a response.

Just the boost gauge, not the true boost.

Here is a pic of the install.

couple questions

So my boost graph shows 24, so shouldn't the gauge say 24 and not 22? Also I just noticed when I turn on the headlights there is no back light. Those that have the digital ones is this normal? I can still see the numbers obviously I just thought it would look cool lit up at night.

I'm still doing some research but what are some numbers on the gauges I should look out for?
