Am I running lean 32 mpg

Am I running lean 32 mpg

I'm getting 32 mpg at 60 mph, is this normal for the Evo x

Definitely Lean. You need to datalog and use a wideband to find out how lean you are running. WOT is where you need to log.

So I'm guessing its possible to blow my motor just going 60 mph light on throttle

Yep, getting good gas Mileage in evo don't belong in the same sentence. It turns out it was just that section of road.

Are you REALLY getting 32 or is that just what your display is showing.. If injectors aren't properly scaled in properly you can get miscalculations of MPGs. I myself had experienced this. If you REALLY are running that lean, you'd be throwing system too lean codes too I'm sure.

Your tune does not effect your cruising gas mileage (in most cases). Running in closed loop, which is what you do when you are cruising unless you are cruising at a fast speed, the front O2 sensor reads the AFR and the ECU tries to adjust the fueling to reach 14.7 AFR. Unless you are not running in closed loop or maybe have a bad front O2 sensor, you should be fine.

Do you have a wideband? This should be the evo's first mod.
