Talking Fuel Pump Question

I would like to know if it would be safe to install my Walbro (F90000267) 416lph fuel pump and run it on a stock tune until I get to the shop for my pro-tune? It would be about a 15-20 mile drive from where I live. I just want to have to avoid paying labor charges at the shop.

for evo x's, no idea

also, to be absolutely safe, always have a shops do all the work and tuning at once unless you've got an e tuner who's going to have a map ready for you after u install.
